So what story are you going to tell?
When I started my photography journey, my focus was primarily on photojournalism and longer-form photo stories. It’s still a love of mine, and I’ve spent the last couple of years trying to find a way to bridge my business with journalism in more than just my shooting style. Something that feels a little deeper than a traditional photoshoot– a way to document legacy and the art of every day moments.
Everyone is interestingI believe that everyone is interesting. I love hearing people’s life stories, from playing in the dirt and talking about fairies with my niece to shooting the shit with the old timers at the bar, I love talking story. And since some of the biggest inspirations for my craft come from the grainy, imperfect film photos that fill my grandparent’s albums, I wanted to create something that feels as tangible and nostalgic as those old film photos, and as raw and grounded as those conversations.

I set aside a whole day to plan our adventures around so we have flexibility to decide when and where we shoot; It’s important to know that this session is built on trust as no two sessions look exactly alike. We will have a planning consult call to get to know more about what you want documented and the heart of the story you want to tell. Then we will work together to craft a day together that helps tell that story.
