UTAH SUMMER ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Two hours west of Salt Lake City, Utah is the stark landscape of the Bonneville Salt Flats. It’s an alien landscape with mountains in the distance and bright white hard-packed salty earth stretching out for miles.
Bonneville Salt Flats
The Salt Flats are located in Tooele County and are about 12 miles long and 5 miles wide and are comprised primarily of sodium chloride, or table salt. They’ve become a popular photo destination due to their proximity to Salt Lake City and their unique aesthetic. In the springtime, the salt flats sometimes fill with water creating stunning reflections and occasional road closures. It’s a beautiful sight to see and one of the most iconic spots for an engagement session.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from Cassie + Mark’s engagement session at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Anna Claire Beasley is an adventurous wedding, elopement, + portrait photographer based out of Texas. She travels for the majority of all of her sessions, from across Texas, to New Mexico, California, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii, and anywhere else there’s a story to document. Her work is grounded in the belief that photographs are about remembering moments + experiences and she makes it her goal is to capture how it felt so those memories can stay fresh for years to come.
A cozy two-day elopement on the West Coast. We started our adventure together in the dreamy mountain town of Mount Shasta before making our way north on Highway 101 to Brookings, Oregon. From there, we ventured out to redwood forests and rocky coves along iconic stretches of Oregon and California.
